election day in canada, and the polls are just closing now. it always amazes me how fast we get the count back, seeing as it is all hand counted. i literally put a #2 pencil x in a circle today. i have my fingers crossed. eek.
ma soeur, mia sorella, is engaged to be married! august 5th is the day, and she is deliriously happy, as i am for her. she and her man (i am going to have a brother holy shit) are going to have a busy year - they've started to put in the driveway for their house (!) and hope to be in for christmas. insanity. i am so proud of her, she is so happy.

hd_flashfic, the first is spark,and the second is banners, although they are sort of chronologically backwards. so read banners first, if you want. although they do work on their own. flashfic is great, there are a lot of people just getting started there, it's really friendly.
